The Benefits of Yoga

If you normally do Yoga, then you must be well aware of the positive effects it has on your mind as well as body. Even if you didn’t know, you know now.Anyone who does regular Yoga is likely to remain active, healthy and stress free. So isn’t Yoga In Flightthe best activity to do to release the tension, anxiety and stress that you experience while traveling? Of course it is. Here are a few exercises that are bound to help!
The first and most common Yoga exercise is the Sukhasana. You don’t need an instructor to teach you how to do Sukhasana. It is very simple. Just sit cross legged with your eyes closed and position yourself like you would when praying. Inhale and exhale a few times. While you exhale, move the right hand to the side, and follow the movement. Then put the hand on your chest in a prayer position. Repeat the same process for your left hand. This exercise helps to relieve stress and anxiety.

The Neck Release and Roll exercise helps in releasing the tension. Just sit up straight on the edge of your seat and rest your hand on your legs. While inhaling, stretch your head back and while exhaling bring it forwards. But if you are going through emotional troubles, then Padadhirasana exercise would do the trick for you. Always drink a glass a water before you begin this exercise. During the flight, you really need your spine to remain in a good shape. For that, do the Marjaryasana exercise. Each exercise has its own advantages and each one will help you during the flight!
