Traveling With Your Best Buddy

This season, take your best friend with you on the vacations. Any pet lover would know what we are implying when we say ‘Best friend’. For many people, pets are family. And quite obviously everyone wants their family with them during the vacations. Traveling with pets is not that big a deal as it is made out to be. This article tells you all the essentially important tips to know if you are taking your pet along with you for a vacation.

If you are getting to your vacation destination by road, then make sure your pet is restrained when the car is in motion. It is advisable that you put your pet (dog/cat) in a carrier and secure the carrier with seat belt. This ensures that the animals remain safe and do not get hurt if you apply brakes hurriedly or God forbid get into an accident. Dogs love to hang their head out from the window, never let them do that on long journeys. Stop for frequent bathroom and leg stretching breaks as well.

Traveling by air can be a bit hard for animals. It isn’t the wisest choice to take your pet on a plane. But sometimes you don’t have another option. For such situations, it is recommended that you choose a cabin and keep your dog/cat with you. Before the flight, make sure your airline is informed about the pet and you know about all the rules, restrictions and general pet policies.

How to Keep Your Child Happy Indoors

What do you do when it is too hot to roam outside or when it is raining? Kids don’t understand why they are confined to a hotel for the entire day. They demand to be entertained at all times. So in order to do that, you must think hard of fun stuff on your own or just give this article a read. It outlines some great kids hotelactivity ideas that will keep your child busy and entertained.

You must always be prepared beforehand. Pack all the right things and you are good to go. Pack irrelevant junk and you’ll be trouble. So make sure you think twice before packing an item. The most fitting and needed materials to pack include paper plates, balloons, colored paper tape, rulers, paint sets (water color or poster), pens, markers, crayons, toy cars and most importantly a sketch book. All these things can be used in many different creative ways. You and your kid can brainstorm together what you’ll do. The ideas are endless.

If you want to go for something simple, then just use the paints to make a painting of the scene outside your hotel’s window. This is a great way to remember old times later. But if you want to be more creative, you could always make something out of the paper plates. Paper plate tic-tac-toe and Paper plate Balloon Tennis is quite fun to make and play with afterwards. You could also use the tapes to make a track and your kid could drive the toy cars on it.

The Benefits of Yoga

If you normally do Yoga, then you must be well aware of the positive effects it has on your mind as well as body. Even if you didn’t know, you know now.Anyone who does regular Yoga is likely to remain active, healthy and stress free. So isn’t Yoga In Flightthe best activity to do to release the tension, anxiety and stress that you experience while traveling? Of course it is. Here are a few exercises that are bound to help!
The first and most common Yoga exercise is the Sukhasana. You don’t need an instructor to teach you how to do Sukhasana. It is very simple. Just sit cross legged with your eyes closed and position yourself like you would when praying. Inhale and exhale a few times. While you exhale, move the right hand to the side, and follow the movement. Then put the hand on your chest in a prayer position. Repeat the same process for your left hand. This exercise helps to relieve stress and anxiety.

The Neck Release and Roll exercise helps in releasing the tension. Just sit up straight on the edge of your seat and rest your hand on your legs. While inhaling, stretch your head back and while exhaling bring it forwards. But if you are going through emotional troubles, then Padadhirasana exercise would do the trick for you. Always drink a glass a water before you begin this exercise. During the flight, you really need your spine to remain in a good shape. For that, do the Marjaryasana exercise. Each exercise has its own advantages and each one will help you during the flight!
